How Content is Created
1. Research & Drafting
Content is drafted by our team with reference to current guidelines (NICE, BNF, BSH), peer-reviewed literature, and consultation with our Clinical Advisory Panel.
2. Clinical Review
All clinical content is reviewed by at least one member of our Clinical Advisory Panel before publication. Reviewers check for accuracy, currency, and appropriate use of evidence.
3. Regular Updates
Clinical pages are reviewed at minimum annually or when significant new evidence or guideline updates are published. Each page displays a "Last reviewed" date.
4. Corrections
If errors are identified, we correct them promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are noted on the page.
Conflicts of Interest
The B12 Society is an independent charity. We do not accept funding from pharmaceutical companies that could influence our content.
